Chain-grate boiler is a kind of layer combustion boiler with high level of mechanization.
The boiler grate is named by its chains type grate. Chain-grate boiler is type of front-mounted boiler and combustion is finished during its grate movement with stable working condition, high efficiency, convenient operation, low labor intensity, low concentration of the flue gas emission.
It is adopted with one side firing method without interference by itself during operation, the fuel layer has obvious distributed zoon along the grate length. To burn out the combustible materials in the fuel and in the fly ash, secondary air can be used. It is mostly used in biomass power plant.
