Solubility: Easily soluble in concentrated ammonia, sodium thiosulfate solution, cyanic acid solution, boiling concentrated hydrochloric acid (in which it forms [Ag (NH3)2]+, [Ag (S2O3)2] 3- and [Ag (CN)2]-, etc.); not easily soluble in organic solution; insoluble in water, ethanol, nitric acid and silver nitrate.
