The frame of the BMC Fourstroke 01 is made with premium lightweight carbon. This frame with light material and fewer parts total just 2525g, including a seatpost and hardware. The carbon frame is also stiffer than in previous models, helping the Fourstroke pick up speed. Compared to previous models, the new Fourstroke is 15 percent stiffer in the bottom bracket and has 23 percent greater torsional stiffness.
