Bitumen quick-drying primer BITAREL (with solvent)

Bitumen quick-drying primer BITAREL is a ready-to-use mixture consisting of petroleum bitumen, organic solvent and process additives.
Application.
For preparation (priming) of insulated surfaces (concrete slab, cement-sand screed, etc.) before laying surfaced and self-adhesive roofing and waterproofing materials, before laying road mastics and tapes for the treatment of metal surfaces before processing them with mastic materials.
Preparation of basis.
Process the primer surface is recommended to pre-dry, clean from dirt in the winter with a brush to clean from ice, snow, frost.Clean rusty metal surfaces mechanically.
Before using the bitumen primer BITAREL must be thoroughly mixed throughout the volume. If necessary, dilute with solvent to the desired consistency. At an air temperature below 0°C, bitumen primer is recommended to withstand in a warm room for a day at a temperature not lower than 15°C.
Product application.
Bitumen primer is applied in a single layer on the base with a brush, nylon brush, paint roller. With this application, the primer rubs into the surface, saturates and bonds it, providing a strong grip of the waterproofing coating with the base. The ambient temperature when applied is not lower than -10 °C.
Average consumption.
0.16-0.35 kg / m2(primer consumption depends on the porosity of the base).
