This type of membrane switch uses metal dome as the upper circuit layer of the switch. By pressing the key, the metol dome central point will connect the lower circuit, then trigger with a singal. Metal dome is usually made of stainless steel, which is flexible and can be pressed more than one million times.
The keys of the metal shrapnel have a good button touch and provide good tactile feedback to the operator. JRPanel uses stainless steel cross shrapnel, and available in specifications of 8.4, 10, 12, 14, 16mm. The metal dome size of 10-12mm is generally recommended, which is more suitable for the actual finger press.
