selenide material with a volumetric absorption coefficient of <0.0005cm-1 at 10.6µm wavelengths and are available in non-coated or a variety of broadband antireflective coating options.8-12µm
coatings are ideal for use with CO2 lasers and thermal camera applications, while dual-band 3-12µm coatings are suitable for hyperspectral applications.

APPLICATION OF ZNSE
-ZnSe Crystal is used in the field of spectral analysis, laser optics, astronomy, medical instruments, infrared night vision, thermal imaging, infrared imaging, etc
-ZnSe Crystal is also a good choice for CO2 laser components.The transmittance is good around the band of 10.6 microns in which the CO2 laser operates.ZnSe material is a yellow transparent polycrystalline material with crystal particle size of about 70μm and transmittance range of 0.5-15μm.The synthesized by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) has almost no impurity absorption and very low scattering loss.Because the absorption of 10.6μm wavelength is very small, it is the preferred material for fabrication of optical devices in high power CO2 laser system.In addition, in the whole transmittance band, it is also widely used in different optical systems.
