[Product performance] The appearance of this product is a colorless transparent colloid with a light odor and no impurities; it is physiologically inert, insoluble in water, with a relative density of 1.045-1.065g/cm3, a viscosity of 100,000 to 300,000 cps, and a volatile content of≤1.5 %, has excellent thixotropic properties and isolation properties, other properties are detailed in the product test report.
[Scope of application] This product is specially used to manufacture disposable vacuum blood collection tubes and injection blood collection tubes, as a necessary material for the preservation, delivery and transfer of high-quality serum and blood samples in clinical tests.
【Precautions】
The company's separation gel is a patented product with unique ingredients. Please do not mix it with other suppliers' products, so as not to cause product defects and cause unnecessary losses to you;
The recommended temperature range for separating gel is -20~+90℃. The viscosity of this product changes greatly as the ambient temperature changes. Too low ambient temperature may cause difficulty in adding gel. It is recommended that when the ambient temperature is lower than 15℃, it can be heated to 60~70℃ in a water bath to reduce the viscosity and improve the efficiency of adding gel;
When the gel is added at room temperature, the phenomenon of "wire drawing" occurs, and the gel temperature can be increased appropriately, or the wire can be broken by vibration;
This product has undergone high-vacuum treatment, and there is basically no air inclusion in the colloid. It is usually not recommended to stir during the transfer and gel adding process, because stirring will easily cause a large amount of air to be trapped in the colloid;
After this product is added to the test tube, it has been subjected to an inverted test at 60°C for more than 20 days under vacuum conditions, and the flow distance of the colloid plane is less than 5mm. It can be guaranteed that no flow of more than 5mm will occur during continuous transportation at 60°C in a container for 20 days, and it will not affect the normal use of blood collection tubes. Even so, we still recommend that the blood collection tube containing separation gel should not be inverted during long-term transportation;
It is recommended not to touch the separating gel directly by hand. When it sticks to the skin, you can scrape it off with a clean iron sheet, wipe off most of the gel with waste newspaper, and then clean it with organic solvents such as DMC, D4, or use sawdust mixed with it. Clean with dirt powder and detergent, and then rinse with water.
Cleaning of the separation rubber hopper: replace the separation rubber of a different manufacturer, or the hopper that has been left unused for a long time and exposed to the air, needs to be cleaned before being put into use again. The cleaning method is: first use a stainless steel shovel to remove the colloid on the surface of the feeding hopper, then use a brush dipped in DMC, D4 and other solvents to clean, and then use a rag dipped in the solvent to wipe clean. The feeding pipe should also be cleaned to prevent colloid contamination.
