The Extendable Trailer is composed of a gooseneck, telescopic boom, suspension, steering mechanism, hydraulic power pack, etc.
1. Gooseenck
The hydraulic gooseneck replaces the rigid gooseneck to transmit the traction force and acts as part of the trailer load on the tractor through the gooseneck so that the tractor does not need to
add additional counterweight installed to ensure the traction force, but also plays the role of trailer load sharing. However, because the gooseneck and the trailer cannot rotate in the horizontal

2. Suspension
The suspension is composed of wheels (including tires and hubs), supporting hydraulic cylinders, fixed arms, swing arms, brake chambers, etc. Its main function is to transfer all forces and moments
acting between the wheels and the body, such as supporting force, braking force, driving force, etc., and to realize the driving and steering of the trailer
3. Telescopic boom structure design
The telescopic boom adopts a large number of integrated technologies, and the high-strength welded steel plate material with yield strength up to 685MPa is selected. The box-designed chassis
structure increases its strength and rigidity. In terms of manufacturing, the assembly and welding technology of tooling sections is adopted to ensure the accuracy of the telescopic boom.
4. Hydraulic integration technology
In the process of hydraulic system design, modular design technology is widely used in our trailers. For example, the functions of hydraulic source control, lifting control and steering
manual/remote control are integrated into the hydraulic control box, and the four-way valve and stop valve are integrated into a hydraulic valve block.
5. Steering system
In mechanical tie rod type steering, the steering angle is generally 50°. According to the requirements of the client, the steering mode can be realized, such as splay, half splay, or diagonal. And
the steering system is simple, reliable and low-cost. The tie rod steering mechanism first appeared in our modular trailer and then was transplanted to the extendable trailer.
