Microcrystalline waxes consist of saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is different from paraffin waxes in having much finer crystals. So that micro crystal wax is commonly darker, has a higher
viscosity, denser, tackier, and more flexible than paraffin waxes.
Depending on the different crude-oil sources, methods, and degree of refinement, microcrystalline waxes vary widely in performance and characteristics. The color of microcrystalline waxes is from
creamy white to dark brown. For the fine crystal structure, decolorization is not easy. Because of its branched-chain component, It has elastic and adhesive characteristics.
KH Paraffin Wax 80M is a light color and congealing point ranges from 80-85℃(176-185 F). It’s produced from the dewaxing of base oil in the refinery process. By the deep refinery, it has a fine
microcrystalline structure, meanwhile having a small part of the linear structure as paraffin paper wax. It has a good capability with industrial paraffin wax and is applied well in rubber
protective wax. With the development of our technology, our categories of paraffin and microcrystalline wax are kept abundant.
