Plastic bung has different sizes and thread designs to meet varied sealing requirements of steel drums and plastic drums. Steel drum requires plastic drum plug, plastic barrel plug with fine thread, and it needs to follow the same standard as steel drum plug. Plastic drums usually require 2'' and 3/4'' NPT or 2'' NPS or 2'' buttress plastic bungs.
