JD Hardware Wire Mesh Co., Ltd specializes in producing Stainless Steel Alloys Mesh, leveraging the inherent strength and corrosion resistance of stainless steel. Our products predominantly use 304 and 316 stainless steel, celebrated for their durability and self-repairing properties. The protective oxide layer formed by chromium in the steel ensures long-lasting performance, even in challenging environments. Additionally, we cater to specific needs with other stainless steel varieties such as 310SS, 321SS, 347SS, and 430SS, available through custom orders. Our focus is on delivering high-quality stainless steel mesh solutions tailored to various industrial requirements.
304 stainless steel
316 stainless steel
304L Stainless Steel Alloy Mesh is known for its excellent general corrosion resistance, low carbon content, and ease of fabrication. Primarily used in the food industry, architecture, and pharmaceutical sector, 304L SS is perfect for situations where welding is required, and its lower carbon content reduces carbide precipitation.
316L Stainless Steel Alloy Mesh offers superior corrosion resistance, thanks to its higher nickel content and the addition of molybdenum. Particularly effective in acidic environments, 316L SS is ideal for marine applications, chemical processing, and medical equipment. Its low carbon version minimizes carbide precipitation during welding.
310 Stainless Steel Alloy Mesh is notable for its excellent heat resistance. Capable of withstanding high temperatures, 310 SS is ideal for furnace parts and heat treatment equipment. Its high chromium and nickel content provide considerable corrosion resistance and strength at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for harsh environments.
321 Stainless Steel Alloy Mesh is stabilized with titanium, making it resistant to chromium carbide formation. It’s particularly useful in high-temperature environments up to 900°C. Commonly used in aircraft exhaust manifolds, expansion joints, and chemical processing equipment, 321 SS combines high strength, scaling resistance, and phase stability.
347 Stainless Steel Alloy Mesh is stabilized by columbium and offers excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. It’s particularly useful in applications where temperatures fluctuate between 800°F and 1600°F. Frequently used in high-temperature gaskets, expansion joints, and in the aerospace industry, 347 SS maintains its properties in harsh conditions.
430 Stainless Steel Alloy Mesh is a ferritic, low-carbon stainless steel with good corrosion resistance and formability. Notably magnetic, it’s used in consumer products, automotive trim, and interior architecture. While it doesn’t match the corrosion resistance of the 300 series, 430 SS is perfect for interior architectural applications, certain automotive parts, and appliances.
Stainless steel is known for its corrosion resistance, but it is not immune to rust. The chromium in stainless steel forms a protective layer, yet exposure to salts, acids, or seawater can still lead to surface rust. Additionally, rust may form when stainless steel comes into contact with carbon steel or iron, or as a result of welding and chemical exposure. Despite this, surface rust generally does not affect the overall functionality of stainless steel. To maintain its good condition and corrosion resistance, it’s important to regularly clean stainless steel with appropriate cleaners. By taking preventive measures, you can effectively protect stainless steel surfaces from rust.
