Grass reinforcement mesh, extruded HDPE plastic mesh, is just laid onto the grass surfaces to reinforce, protect and stabilize the grassy areas. The mesh distribute the imposed load evenly to ensure pedestrian and vehicle traffic smooth access without sinking in the mud and leaving deep footstep. Its special oscillated mesh structure is designed to increase traction and improve slip resistance by up to 97% than straight oriented meshes.
Grass reinforcement mesh installation is quite simple. Cut the grass short and flatten the level before laying the mesh. Use steel U-pins to fix the mesh to the ground. When the grass grows through the mesh and intertwine with the mesh filaments, the mesh can be used than. Normally it will cost about a few weeks during growing season, but a few months out of the growing season. We strongly recommend that you'd better install the mesh in the spring.
Mesh reinforced grassy areas are porous and permeable. It allows for rainwater penetrate into the ground naturally which is very different from grid structure and concrete paves. On the other side, the grass protection mesh controls earth erosion.
