Nestable corrugated pipe is composed of two semicircle sections that are bolted together to form a round corrugated steel pipe. Compared with integral corrugated pipes, this one has nestable structure, which means they can be nested into bundles for easier handling and transportation. Therefore, they are generally applied to remote projects or sites with bad construction condition.
Two types of nestable corrugated pipes are available in our company as shown in the following pictures:
Flange type nestable corrugated pipe features protruding flange plates with pre-drilled holes for bolting two sections together using galvanized 10mm bolts and nuts. However, riveting type pipe don’t have flanges but have pre-drilled holes at both ends of each semicircular section for easy assembly. This design results in cost saving, especially labor saving. Both these two types of nestable corrugated pipes are galvanized for high durability and corrosion resistant under normal conditions.
