Acicular wollastonite
as calcic metasilcate mineral, is a new kind of industrial raw mineral materials. At present, it’s mainly applied to ceramic industry, and secondly used as metallurgy protecting slag and paint. Further, it can be used as electrode coating, mountain cork substitute, abradant binding agent, compound of glass and stuffing of rubber, plastic, insulating material and paper. Some wollastonite can be used as finishing material of building or compound of white cement.
