Gabion Baskets

Gabion baskets are big cage or wire container. Connect pieces of twisted wire mesh or welded wire mesh into a rectangular shape before putting stone into the cage. Gabions are installed on the job site, which facilitate transportation and reduce cost. Stone, gravel, sometimes soil and sand can be contents of the gabion.

Galvanized, PVC-coated galvanized and stainless steel wire are often used in gabion baskets. These materials will not rust in damp and corrosive environments. When installed, pay attention not to break the protective layer.

Gabion baskets are often found in civil engineering, retaining walls, slope reinforcement, residential and commercial areas for its good flexibility, economy, permeability and durability.
