Mode of action: Pyrethroids affect the nervous system of an organism. They act by disrupting the gating mechanism of sodium channels that are involved in the generation and conduction of nerve impulses..Pyrethroids disrupt the sodium channel activation gate by keeping it in the open position.Delayed closing of the gate results in prolonged excitation of nerve fibers. Lambda-cyhalothrin causes rapid paralysis and death to insect when ingested or exposed externally.

Application:It is a broad-spectrum insectide with very strong stomach and contact poisoning activity, especially effective for controlling mites. It has long time effect, swift killing action to insects and low toxicity to beneficial insects.
