Sewn Aluminum Foil Fiberglass Heat Reflect Sleeve
500°F/260°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent
Hot Selling! Sewn Aluminum Foil Fiberglass Heat Reflect Sleeve can withstand repeated exposures to molten steel, molten aluminum and molten glass up to 3000°F (1650°C).
Seamless lamination of a high-temperature fabric( fiberglass yarns)to a highly-reflective foil is the makeup of this kind of thermal resistant sleeve, which provides protection from radiant heat for hoses and wires. Its ultra lightweight construction provides more insulating than traditional bulky rubber-coated fiberglass. The aluminized sleeving reflects over 90% of the radiant energy that hits its surface, keeping the underlying cables and hoses cool. The aluminum layers will not delaminate from the cloth, even under the most extreme heat conditions. The sleeve is constructed by slitting the blanket to the appropriate width and double stitching the edge with high temperature glass fiber thread.
Sewn Aluminum Foil Fiberglass Heat Reflect Sleeve offers superior thermal protection to components, especially in the Automotive Industry, where they are in close proximity to engines and exhaust systems. It is typically used to cover / protect:Engine wire harnesses,Hydraulic hoses and tubing ,A/C line ,Hydraulic and fuel lines ,Control cables ,etc.
