Introduction:
Cold Pressed coupler splice is rebar mechanical splice designed for the connection of concrete reinforcement bars when there are left rebar in the construction which cannot be connected with the parallel thread couplers, or the rebars do not have condition to make the threading.
1) First cutting the rebar end square
2) Put the two rebar ends into the pressing coupler, each rebar with half of the coupler length.
3) Using the cold pressing machine clamps to press the coupler to make the coupler and rebar connect together.
Advantages:
1) Because of the good resistance of the joint, it is widely used in bridge constructions;
