Wuhan Reetec has now developed top dome PDC inserts into a third generation. Based on the second generation, the third generation has been optimized by improving the ratio of diamond powders, as well
as the synthesis mode structure, the pressing process, manufacturing and test, so as to improve the impact properties of top dome PDC inserts. The specifications of top dome PDC inserts are from
φ5-φ19, shaped ball type inserts, bevel ball inserts, wedge type inserts, which are mainly used in heel row, gage row and head OD of Roller Cone bits and PDC bits for drilling hard formation and
extremely hard formations.
Except impact resistance requirements, top dome PDC inserts for engineering can solve different problems in different work conditions.
PDC Conical Picks: These picks are mainly used for hard roadway excavation, coal gangue mining, complex geological real estate (high-speed rail, etc.). The picks are fixed in rotary drilling machine,
dual milling equipments. Compared with ordinary carbide Picks, PDC Conical picks have the following advantages:

Hammer bit PDC inserts: These PDC inserts are mainly used for mining in hard formations. Expect for the excellent impact resistance properties, the PDC inserts also have high wear resistance and heat
