Anise; Its names in folk language are Mesir plant, enison, raziyane, nanahan, it grows in Middle Europe, Russia, East India and the countries having Mediterranean climatic properties and in our county it is seen primarily in the Aegean Region and in Antalya,Aydin,Burdur,Isparta,Izmir,Mugla and Manisa. The fruit of the plant, which is 5-6 mm long and 1-3 mm wide, resembles pear in form and is green-grey in color and the surface of the fruits is plumate. A well-known application of anise is for wind problems and sleeping for child. Another famous property of this plant is its property increasing milk for mothers and its positive effect on cough preventing. It takes its place within your tea preferences with its strong special smell and spicy taste.
