Safety Features:
The Glider Swing was designed with safety in mind. We widened the "A" frame to allow more space between the posts and the arms of the seats. This prevents bodily injury or injury to children while the swing is in motion. In order to reduce "swaying" we use 4x4 posts for legs and steel cross bracing for support. This increases stability allowing an easier entry and exit. The steel cross bracing also prevents excessive swing height or movement by children. In addition, this sturdy design will safely hold up to 500lbs per seat.

The Glider Swing comes boxed, precut and ready to assemble with complete instructions. The swing weighs approximately 350lbs.

The Glider Swing is strong, sturdy, and built to last. It is crafted from wood and supported by steel braces. Our swing is superior in strength and durability. The difference lies in the art of our design. We use 4x4?s for the legs instead of 2x4?s. The base of our swing is attached by a 1-1/2" galvanized steel pivot bar that runs all the way through on both sides, not a single bolt that creates friction and wear. The arms of the benches are also attached by 1-1/2" galvanized steel pivot bars, not a hook & hanger. These pivot bars allow for a more durable and lasting design while providing a smooth and almost effortless swing motion. It can be placed on any fairly level surface, such as a deck, a grassy area or on concrete. The Glider Swing is free standing or can be easily anchored to the ground.
