For the construction we use standard thatching grass, we do offer the option of reed which will give you a smoother and more attractive finish. The timbers used for the construction of the trusses are all S.A.B.S approved treated pine poles, poplar poles. To secure the thatch to the roof tarred cisal twine and galvanised wire are used. The ridge or capping of the roof is made with pre-constructed fibreglass.
