building surface. The inflatable head seal is mounted on an insulated panel, which forms the roof with a standard projection of 750mm. An electric fan motor is mounted on the underside of the roof and is connected to the inflatable head bag. The head bag is retracted by means of a counterweight and is hidden behind a 3.5mm thick PVC storage curtain when retracted. The inflatable side seals are mounted on to galvanised steel top hat sections and will wrap around the vehicle sides when inflated. The counterbalance weight will run vertically behind one of the side seals. CONCEPTION: 1000 denier Cordura fabric is sewn for the head and side bags. Cordura is a very hard wearing tear resistant waterproof material. It is manufactured from woven nylon coated with a tough polyurethane skin. A heavy duty two ply PVC to 3.5mm thick is used for the head storage curtain. Mounted on a backboard complete with a counterbalanced roller retraction system to return the deflated bag to the stored position behind the PVC storage curtain. The whole assembly is mounted under a 50mm thick insulated panel coated both sides with plastisol coated galvanised steel sheet, standard colour white. The roof is supported on galvanised steel brackets at either end which are bolted back to the building. Mounted on lightweight galvanised steel profiles the side bags have an internal retraction system storing them flat against the building when deflated. The side bags inflate and wrap around on to the sides of the vehicle giving minimal loading stresses to the building structure. The counterbalance weight for the head seal runs vertically behind one of the side seals. The fan is powered by a 0.18kw 415v 3ph electric motor. Inflation time is 10 15 seconds. Standard control is an on/off switch. Fan is switched on after the vehicle has docked and is run continuously whilst loading/unloading takes place.
