Papasan Chair

This is a papasan of truly magnificent proportions. With a papasan dish measuring 140cm in diameter, it is the largest sized papasan available. Purchase one of our extra thick cushions, and you will be completely satisfied with this chair. This product is a world first! It is made from PVC, therefore has lightweight and durable outdoor qualities (papasan frames are traditionally manufactured in rattan which are unsuitable for the outdoors, and generally are only 115cm inches in diameter). At Supertube we are delighted to bring to you our outdoor capable giant version of this popular chair. Because the Giant papasan frames dismantle small enough to send via the worldwide postal system, we are able to send them to you, regardless of where in NZ you are located. It is simple to reassemble - the PVC pipes are easily positioned and the screws which need fastening are supplied. Our cushions and these Giant Papasan frames are wholly made in New Zealand. We are so confident with the quality and craftsmanship of our Giant Papasan frames that we offer a 2 YEAR WARRANTY whereby we will happily replace any defective or damaged pieces, whilst all of our cushions continue to have our 12 month quality workmanship warranty. Because the extra wide dish on the papasan chair is separate from the base, it allows the seat to be tilted to any angle, including the "laid back" position. It is thoroughly comfortable in the upright position, and totally fabulous when used to lie in a laid back position. If you reside in close proximity to where we are based Auckland, then we recommend that you purchase one of our filled giant papasan cushions which are extra thick and luxurious. If you live elsewhere, then we can still assist you by sending to you the frame and an UNFILLED cushion cover (with zip and buttons already inserted), however you would then need to fill the cushion yourself with filling purchased locally. The cushions are reversible (i.e. can be turned over) and can be attached and detached from the frame via the removable velcro tags supplied (these tags are helpful in stopping the cushion from moving around in the frame). We only use 12 buttons on each side of the cushion, which allows for the cushion to have extra filling inside, giving it added plumpness and comfort (cushions are approximately 10 inches thick). There is around 12 kgs of compression resistant polyester filling inside the giant papasan cushion, which is finished with a zip.
