Cottage concepts is an approved member of the Timber Frame Builders Association and adheres to a strict code of ethics, which is in accordance with both international and South African standards. Cottage Concepts has exported pre manufactured timber homes to Spain, Portugal, the U.K., Congo and Angola, to name a few. Peter was also involved in the building of Fregate Island Resort in the Seychelles, one of the worlds most exclusive resorts. Other than homes, Cottage Concepts make a wide range of furniture, decks, boardwalks and resort developments for the hotel, pub, restaurant, patio and outdoor, and hospitality industries.

Cottage Concepts is situated in Durban on the Eastern Seaboard of South Africa. The company is headed by Peter Bissett, who has extensive experience both locally and abroad in timber construction and outdoor furniture. Also having founded Pinewood Homes and owned and managed Sunlines for many years.
