Citrine may be used in a gem remedy to revitalize the system, and meditated with for mental clarity. In healing Aventurine is known to encourage tissue repair and support the heart and circulation. It is known to inspire optimism and a renewed zest for life, and to help feel gratitude for what has been received. It can be placed over the heart chakra or the lower abdomen to clear negativity and encourage harmony. It is said that a person may meditate with aventurine to see where one is and where one would like to be. In healing Amethyst is used as a purifying crystal, helping to ward off negative influences and to protect from environmental stress. It is said to calm the nervous system and the brain, while easing headaches and migraines, and opening the third-eye and crown chakras. It enhances personal spiritual awareness and is worn or carried to help calm mental stress. Amethyst is also used to improve the quality of sleep by placing it under the pillow or wearing a piece to bed. In Magic Amethyst is used for psychism, peace, love, courage and happiness, and protection against thieves.  In Magic Crystal Quartz has been used for thousands of years. It has been used to magically create rain, and produce the sacred fire.
