This is an odd piece, a mug for, American Glass collectors. Greentown Glass, is in reference to the Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Co. c:1894-1903. This piece is a rareity in like others from this period it has survived. Jacob Rosenthal later affillliated with Fenton Glass developed his famous chocolate glass in 1900. The piece is green five inches high, and bears indoor scenes. It is as is, and has one small chip, at the juncture of the handle and connecting point to drinking cup. The rareity of this type of glass makes it as collectible as it has become. According to Schroeder's ANTIQUES price guide, 2001, a nile green 8.5 inch piece is worth approx $550.00.
