TSAI Chih-Chung, born in Changhua , was determined to be a cartoonist when he was four and half and went to Taipei alone when he was 15 years old . It started his creation of animation, cartoon and art as a career. With simple lively lines and natural painting style , he put the classic stories into vernacular Chinese and into cartoon style, combining his original view to Chinese philosophies, classic masterworks, poetry from Tang and Sung dynasty, Buddhist scripture and Zen speaks and introducing the cartoon of The Chinese Classic Series to the whole world! Zen Series is one of TSAI's random work these years, being drawn maybe in his studio, at the airplane or during a break of the bridge game. Even though Zen Series is a random, it's still of a unique style of TSAI and every piece is worth to collect!
