Terry Murphy Bronze Sculpture, Tribute to Adventure. This magnificent work of art was created by Montana sculptor Terry Murphy, depicting 2 men (Lewis & Clark?) in a primitive canoe navigating the perilous white-waters of one of the Northwests great rivers. The men are returning to their camp from a successful hunting trip as we can see the trophy racks of Bighorn sheep and elk inside the small boat, as well as all the gear, oil lamps, ropes, canteens and guns. The man sitting in the forward part of the canoe has just dropped his rifle overboard and is frantically stretching to save it from disappearing into the foamy depth. The detail, action and movement captured in this piece are absolutely sensational the more one gazes at the scene, the more it seems to come to life! This 80 lbs. bronze (31x 11x 10) is for sale at $12,000.
