and scabbard fittings. All fittings are either damascus or sterling silver, and in the case of the scabbard throat, a combination of both. The handle is buffalo horn with a silver wire accent, the
"kidney" guard is multi-bar twist endgrain, and the pommel is a tight reverse twist that Matt then turned and polished to a nicely refined shape. The blade is a combination of L6 tool steel and
1095 carbon steel in a twist pattern, and the damascus "stone" set in the scabbard throat is a much finer version of the same damascus
