Milagros charms

Milagro means "miracle" in Spanish. In olden times, these metal charms were presented to priests or tacked up on church altars with the hope of receiving protection, better health, romance or overall improved living circumstances.

Milagros are good luck charms. Many are made in the shape of body parts and are thought to "heal" those ailing organs.
