The tradition continues for creation of an annual Santa Carving.

For 2005 the design concept was to convey contentment and tranquility. Tired after completion of his appointed rounds but radiating satisfied contentment for bringing joy into the world Santa takes time out for a moment of reflection.

This years sculpture is presented in wall plaque format lending distinctive elegance that only hand-tooled wood can convey to holiday decorations.

Collectable:
Holiday traditional release of only 250 individual sculptures utilizing the "Tranquil Santa" design format will be individually hand carved and finished. Each carving is signed, dated and numbered by AuBuchon Carvers.

Material: Northern Pine (structural density & dominant graining patterns)
Coloring: Alcohol base dyes (subtle tones and reveal of wood depth & graining)
Finish: Four- (4) applications lacquer (deep gloss finish)

Carvings are original designs and recreations of time honored antiques.
Each piece is created from solid wood by detailed hand carving and finished with dyes to allow the graining and beauty of the wood to bring life to the piece. Consignment work taken from pictures or personal art is available.
