For those who have visited the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Vivian Morales' art makes one say 'I've been there before....'.    This print is called Daryl's Dune. The original was an oil painting and was painted from photos taken in 1976 by the artist's husband, Jesse.   This painting is named after one of the Morales' children, Daryl. This dune, located in  the CAPE HATTERAS NATIONAL SEASHORE PARK, was a favorite of their son.   Supposedly a great fishing spot if you knew when to "be there."

Daryl's Dune shares a highly personal perspective of an eroding dune, the seeming eternity of the ocean, & the drifting sand.
