Soy candles

First you need to understand what they are not.  Soy candles are not
your traditional candle since the majority of candles on the market
today (95%) are made from paraffin wax. Paraffin is the sludge at
the bottom of a barrel of crude oil.  Thus, paraffin candles support
foreign oil producing countries!  Because paraffin is petroleum based,
it produces soot and toxins when burned.  Have you ever notice the
black on the inside of your candle containers after they've burned for
awhile?  Have you seen a lit candle give off a trail of black smoke? 
Only 5% of all candles are made from "natural" waxes and soy is the
least expensive one to use in candles.
