The artist shares her views on technology in the art field: We as Artists are living in an interesting and exciting time. Never before has there been such a wide assortment of tools to create images. Perhaps during our lifetime a whole new Color System will evolve through our experimentations, our discoveries, and our desire to share our vision with the world. Embracing new technologies, Sara demonstrates how new paint mediums and substrates can affect a more powerful image. She feels she is closer to resolving the dilemma of capturing the feeling and brilliance of atmospheric conditions and how we experience color in our environment then artists have ever been in the past..

I designed a symbol, which encompasses a multitude of personal meanings on many levels, as my chop. The key elements speak of harmony, balance, peace, nature, and spirituality.

You will notice on several of the paintings a subtle marking in gold or silver, typically on the side or bottom of the painting. In Asian cultures, (which consider painting a sacred endeavor closely tied in with meditation & spirituality), calligraphy, poems and chops are an integral part & important element in the painting. The chop uses a poem or a phrase as a personal statement placed to balance and enhance the painting.
