Sherri natural flair for colour was ignited in childhood which centred on the family printing works. Surrounded by plenty of paper and ink, Sherri discovered a passion and a talent for colour and art and the rest is history on canvas.

With a philosophy that is based on using art to calm the mind. Sherri art is underpinned by a simple stillness that evokes a peaceful and contemplative mood. She has managed to maintain these emotions in both her traditional and contemporary work. 

Sherri Ryan is a South Africa artist who is deeply inspired by the diverse South African Landscape. Her unique Cape studio reflects the true story of an African Farm and the natural beauty of here surroundings is often expressed in the vibrant natural splendor of her art. This extends to innovative mixed media paintings which incorporate natural sands and oxides.
