 The impact of her work is based firstly on colour and secondly by motif. She forms a mental "fluid interpretation" of the subject she wishes to capture. Her palette is a blend of harmonious colours that is carefully selected for the final transformation. Vibrant use of colour is the most important ingredient in her paintings but plasticity of a subject is also present. Jointly they create an unexpected harmony transforming a blank canvas into a visual feast. Her imagination is a filter between nature and canvas.

Liezl Le Roux is a South African borne artist based in Pretoria. She launched her career during 1996 and her works were popular from the onset amongst art galleries and art dealers alike nationally as well as internationally. She paints a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to, landscapes, figures, boat scenes and flower studies. The majority of her work is done in a unique acrylic based technique.
