CHAIN STOKER SYSTEMS

The type of coal to be used on the chain conveyor measures ( 10 to 50 mm ), 10% of it can be coal dust ( 1 to 10 mm ).Heating value of coal is between 3500 - 5500 Kcal / Kg.

This procedure and a concrete base in field prepared in advance brings down the erection time of the whole systems to an absolute minumum.As it appears this gives the owner a notable advantage.

Chain stoker units are shipped out from our factory  after completly assembled and tested.At the site of erection, boiler as a seperate unit is mounted on the chain conveyor unit.

Coal, immediatly after entering the combustion zone, starts burning and continue  to burn homogeniously until the end of chain conveyor.At the end of conveyor, after completion of burning process, coal slags fall in to the discharge pit and from there a conveyor band carry them outside.

An adjustable coal loading system under the coal bunker,spreads the coal on the conveyor to the proper depth  of combustion requirement.

Chain stocker speed,depending on the heat input requirement of the boiler, can be adjusted trougha speed controller.

Chain stokers are made of heat resisting special alloy steels and are designed to give high performance and reliability.Air,trough specially designed  ducts and adjustable dampers,is supllied under the chain stocker. From there trough small opening provided in the chain stocker, air enters the combustion zone for efficient burning of coal.
