The Cosyman Woodpecker has the Wood Pellet System encased in a galvanized outdoor module. The Cosyman is accessed by easily opened hinged doors should a service engineer wish to attend to the boiler. The Cosyman has front and rear access. The Cosyman also has a twin walled insulated flue with a cowl which eliminates the cost of purchasing a chimney to the householder

Gerkros offer a variety of boiler models ranging from 20kW to 50 kW to suit nearly all domestic houses. Also available from Gerkros is the Cosyman Woodpecker to suit developers and homeowners who do not plan to build a garage or boiler house.

The wood pellet boiler supplied by Eco Build is manufactured by Gerkros in Co. Tipperary, a long established boiler manufacturer who are currently the only Irish manufacturer of Wood Pellet Boilers.

Wood Pellet Boilers are an alternative to traditional oil fired boilers. In these boilers wood pellets, are burned to heat water for domestic use and in heating. These pellets are delivered to the home in bulk form and stored in a hopper and fed automatically to the boiler. These boilers are extremely efficient, approx 90%-95% compared to 60% for oil boilers and as they use a bio-fuel will not attract a carbon tax in the future.
