The efective fuel-air contact means lesser excess air needs which gives high boiler efficiency. By adding an economizer to pre-heat the feed water, the total system efficiency can be made higher than any other boiler make.
Fluidized Bed Combustion which is the latest coal firing technology, gives very high combustion efficiency ( 95 - 99% ).
