Modular Tubular Heaters

The heater is equipped with three main modules: a heat exchange chamber, a heater base and a fan unit. Additionally, the heater consists of chimneys, explosive valve units, gas coils pipes, an operating floor, and a step-ladder.
The heat exchange chamber is a heat-insulated metal case, which contains four coil sections of ribbed pipes. Fuel gas combustion products recycle in the heat exchange chamber and ensure uniform heating of crude oil emulsion (oil).
The heater base includes four combustor chambers with the fuel gas supply pipes and ignition devices, air charging ways (ducts) from the fan unit to combustion chambers and gas preparation facility.
The fan unit consists of a steel welded frame with an electric motor mounted on it and a centrifugal high-pressure fan, an air intake and a booster.

The PTB-10A Modular Tubular Heater

Basic distinctive features of the PTB-10 compared to the PTB-10A:

Extended explosive valve area;
When explosive gas concentration is generated in the heat exchanger chamber, the heater automatic protection system is activated;
Removable rear wall of heat exchange chamber;
Air pressure sensors in front of each combustion chamber;
Upgraded combustor chamber ensures better burning process;
Upgraded heater gas piping in accordance with GOST 21204-83.

PTB-10E Modular Tubular Heater

Basic distinctive features of the heater:

Electric control system using the automation microprocessor system enables functioning as part of pipe heater automatic control system;
Pneumatic drives of actuating mechanism replaced by electric ones;
Automation system enables to control additionally gas and air ratio ensuring better burning and gas concentration in the heat exchange chamber;
Efficiency increased to 85%; to achieve this the single coils were additionally installed in the heat exchange chamber;
Extended explosive valve area;
Coils additionally installed in the heat exchange combustor to heat fuel gas in wintertime;
Doubled number of fan
