Features
The major advantage of condensing technology is to extract more heat from the exhaust gas compared to conventional systems. The Heat Exchanger incorporates a larger surface area constructed of high quality stainless steel. This additional surface area allows the unit to extract all the latent energy from the combustion process and recapture from the exhaust stream and the water vapor contained within the exhaust gas. Condensing heaters extract so much heated energy they are vented with standard plastic pipe! The Munchkin Contender burns less gas to produce the same amount of heat as a conventional system.
