History: Owner bought it from a local Dealers rental fleet in Dec 1999. Crane was operated only by Owner and one experienced crane operator. The crane was used for setting trusses and wall panels. For a couple of years, truck pulled a 25 ton trailer carrying a telescopic forklift. Per Owner/Operator, it is a very strong crane stronger than its chart or any other similarly rated cranes that hes tried (i.e. Manitex or National). He has liked the X-Frame Outriggers and this crane in particular due to its ease and speed of setup and stability. It takes up no more setup space than a traditionally outriggered crane. 1998 Pioneer model 4000, 27.5 ton crane with 94' - 104' main boom length (44 jib available at additional cost), X-frame outriggers, ATB (anti-two block) and hydraulic overload protection (no computer), winch rope is in very good condition and was replaced 3 years ago. Unit originally had a jib and man-basket. Either can be added at additional cost. 18' flatbed. Mounted on 1999 Freightliner FL112 chassis with CAT C12, 410hp diesel engine, 8LL trans, dual locking differentials (inter-axle and full locking), A/C, block heater, New 425 floater front tires, rear tires have 85% remaining (recaps), pintle hitch has glad hands for airbrake trailer and is also wired for electric trailer. Has ~149,000 miles and ~ 7,500 engine hours. Well maintained, starts great, good runner, doesnt use oil. Maintenance records available for Buyers review. Chassis will come with current DOT inspection and optional crane inspection. This crane has been inspected yearly since new with the exception of 08/09 because of limited use. |
