SLIDE COLUMN CRANE

The Slide-Column Crane (shown at left) lifts completed engines using hooks. The slide column is extremely useful in eliminating the swinging that results when tractor drives are used with heavy loads.The slide column crane is a rigid column that will not swing like a hoist chain does.For example, when "North" tractor is activated a typical hoist would begin swinging the load.
