Chem-Free series includes 1 microcharger, gravel underbed and filter media, filter media shipped in separate cartons.
These systems reduce iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide by injecting air as an oxidizer. Dissolved iron and manganese are converted into a solid which is filtered from the water. Periodically, the system automatically backwashes the accumulated contaminants down the drain.
