Brief Description Filtration is a process by which components are separated using a filter media or septum. The teaching apparatus covers two general groups of experimentation. The first group covers three different types of filtration systems; the bag filter, the cartridge filter, and the sand filter, all of which are designed to remove suspended solids form water.
