Basket Filter

The Basket Filter mainly consists of barrel, nozzle neck, filtering basket, flange cover and flange. It is used to filter liquid medium (usually product oil) and eliminate solid impurities in order to protect instruments in pipeline from damage. Usually the filtering basket is made of stainless steel. However, the basic material of the barrel will be decided according to the property of filtered medium and its operating condition. The liquid medium enters the barrel and passes through filtering net with impurities remained which will be drained from the draining nozzle. Some gas in the liquid will emit from the vent valve on top of the barrel, where an automatic valve can be fitted for automatic exhaustion.
