• Velcon pioneered the on-line filtration of oil in Tap Changers, with many "copy cat" systems now available on the market. However, the incorporation of Superdri technology into the system keeps Velcon a step ahead of the pack. Our on-line Tap Changer Filtration system ensures safe, 24 hour operation with constant filtration of the oil. Carbon is continually removed down to less than 10ppm. The system has been field proven and laboratory tests have shown
  tremendous improvement in oil dielectric strength.

  Our basic model is extremely compact measuring 750mm x 750mm x 500mm. It can be wall or pad mounted. A pressure switch and float switch are included as standard, ensuring full system protection at all times. Any fault condition is easily traceable through the incorporation of indicator lights. By fitting one of our tap changer filtration units, you can lengthen the service life of your tap changers , extend service intervals and lover operation costs.
