The leak by the pin hole of the HEPA filter is required to less than 0.01percent and it is judged by the scan test. Heres the specific method of the scan test. Put the inhalation entrance of the aerosol measuring instrument at the maximum 2.5cm from the surface of the filter. And, overlap it slightly at the inhalation entrance. Then scan the quantity of inhalation at about 28 l/min to the whole surface at the velocity of less than 5 cm/sec to check the pin hole.
