PPGL /FRP Nutche Filter

Operation :

Hot water is sprayed thorugh spray nozzles from top of the Colling Tower. Water because of jet effect suchs air from the area surrounding each nozzle. Thus it creates air draft. Water and air travels in co-current direction down to the basin. Heat and mass transfer takes place and water gets cooled.

Construction :

STRUCTURE : It is FRP lined M.S. section
LOUVERS : It is made of FRP Moulded.
WATER DISTRIBUTION : It is made of G.I. Header and Nylon / PP Spray Nozzles.
FASTNERS : S. S. nut bolts, S.S.304

Optionals :

WALKWAY : M.S.with epoxy paint.
PLATFORM & RAILING : M.S.with epoxy paint
LADDER : M.S. with epoxy paint.

NO CORROSION : As made of FRP Louver and FRP lined M.S. Structure.
NO FAN : Spray Nozzles does the work of FAN
NO POWER : Since no FAN-No POWER
NO MAINTENANCE : No moving parts. No Breakdown - Hence No Maintenance.
STEADY PERFORMANCE : There is no fills - Hence No Clogging and No Loss in Efficiency steady performace
PAY BACK PERIOD : Since No Power - No Power bill. Tower becomes free within 18 months of operation.

For selection of OM GLASS COOLING TOWER, following informations are required.

Water flow rate.
Hot water temperature to Cooling Tower
Cooled water temperature required
Wet buib temperature

1 TR = 3000 K.cal / Hr. = 12,000 BTU / HR
1 LPS = 3.6 M / Hr. = 13 IGPM = 16 USGPM
